Artist's own custom-formulated paste made of polymers, resin, and fiber / stretched canvas / spray paint and acrylic.
Three distinct lighting stages (front and back / front only / back only) within a single work.

"Cells" is a project in which I investigate and question, through various works, the fixity of the visible, the infrathin, and the materiality of what is not immediately evident.
It ultimately evolved into a three-dimensional, installative drawing made with a custom paste composed of polymers, resin, and white fiber on stretched canvas, intervened with spray paint and white acrylic, worked on both sides.
The piece explores the transformation of matter through three modes of lighting (front/back/combined) using LED lights with dimmers, revealing layers of perception in each phase. This canvas functions as an organic membrane, where light and matter simulate mutating cells, transforming into a luminous-spatial organism.
The artist’s unique formula generates textures and reliefs that reconfigure depending on the lighting, evoking cycles of latent life.
